I'm a Software Engineer based in Mexico City with over 7 years of experience building cloud-native applications and modernizing financial systems at GBM. My most exciting project? Combining architecture knowledge, AWS, and prompt engineering to build a system that processes daily financial data while implementing AI prompting techniques to enhance development workflows that I supervise.
I specialize in Node.js and love building applications from scratch—whether it's architecting systems at work or working on new projects with friends through our venture at vike.com.mx. I occasionally write articles on Medium and always enjoy the occasional LeetCode challenge. Currently exploring AI applications beyond prompt engineering to see how machine learning could solve real-world problems.
When I'm not thinking about code, you'll find me in completely different worlds: training butterfly and freestyle for my goal of winning a local swimming competition, sketching and painting with pencils, oils, and watercolors (check out my Instagram!), or planning my next adventure. My most unforgettable trip was backpacking through Italy with my best friend—hostels, Formula 1, incredible food, and meeting amazing people along the way.
I live with Hunter, my 2-year-old German Shepherd who's my hiking and trail companion. When I'm not at the gym or trying to get used to running (still exhausting!), I'm usually reading books or manga. I play some instruments just to understand how music works, and I secretly dream of making a film someday. Life's more fun when you don't limit yourself to one thing.
Built a platform for psychologists to design interactive assessments, increasing patient engagement through real-time notifications and dynamic layouts.
Created a workflow engine using graph-based design to manage nested legal processes and appeals, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

Published articles explaining complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
I'm available for freelance projects or full-time roles. Let's connect!
